Jeanie Bussell, L.Ac., Dipl. OM., MSOM

Jeanie began her professional life in science by earning degrees in biology and allied health sciences, and worked for more than 10 years in Western healthcare settings before entering Oriental Medical School. She attended the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, earning her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM), magna cum laude. In addition, Jeanie completed an advanced course of study and clinical internship at Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. She is nationally board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbalogy and is licensed in the state of Illinois. She is also a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the Illinois State Acupuncture Association.
Jeanie has studied with leaders in the field of Oriental Medicine including Paul Pitchford (author of Healing with Whole Foods), Giovanni Maciocia (author of many Oriental Medicine books), and Randine Lewis (author of Infertility Cure). Jeanie is a co-author of Fully Fertile – a 12 week Program for Optimal Fertility, available nationwide by Findhorn Press. She is known as one of the top fertility acupuncturists in the Midwest and regularly gives seminars to the general public and to health advisers about how to use Oriental medicine to address women’s health. She has been featured on CBS Evening news with Dan Rather, Fox News in the Morning, ABC 7 News, Chicago Tribune, Medill Reports, the Pioneer Press, Today’s Chicago Women and Beep Central. Jeanie is the current Director of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Tiffani Kim Institute in Chicago, Illinois. Jeanie is currently working on several projects with Paul Pitchford along with fellow intensive graduate Robin Gentry McGee.
